I'm Jinke, a linguist with a specialization in language and education.
I’m TEFL certified and have 5 years of teaching experience.
Over the years, I’ve worked with students who were going through inburgering, learning professional Dutch, or simply trying to navigate their personal and work life in the Netherlands.
For me, teaching is all about making students feel at ease and ensuring they have fun while learning. I believe that mistakes are part of the learning process—what matters most is clear communication, not perfection!
I truly love teaching because it allows me to connect with people from all over the world, each with their own unique story and path in life. It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of their learning journey.
In my free time, I enjoy listening to podcasts, swimming, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. And yes, I really love my job! Having learned new languages from a young age, I know how challenging language learning can be, but I also know how fun it is to see progress and build new skills. Plus, my experience as a student gives me insight into what makes a good teacher (and what doesn’t—I've got a few stories from that perspective too! :).
